The government will strictly enforce the “no home quarantine” policy for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) patients once it is approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

Presidential peace adviser Carlito Galvez Jr., the chief implementer of the national policy against Covid-19, is confident that disallowing home quarantine will reduce new coronavirus cases to single-digit levels.
