A farmers’ cooperative in the so-called calamansi capital of Cagayan Valley (Region 2) is unhampered by the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic and continues to deliver quality calamansi to a condiment firm in Metro Manila.
The Aurora Citrus Farmers Cooperative (ACFC) in Aurora town, Isabela province, said it had started delivering this month 1 metric ton of fresh calamansi to Mama Sita’s Holding Co. Inc. that pioneered Filipino sauces and spice mixes and envisioned to bring Philippine flavors to the world.
