REGARDING Rigoberto Tiglao’s “Setting the record straight on Ninoy”(The Manila Times, Aug. 28, 2020). Let me set the record straight with a little fact checking.

First of all, you say Ninoy was not a hero. Clearly such a label is in the eye of the beholder but there are some universally accepted qualities: courageous, possessing conviction, brave, determined, inspirational. Just as clearly, Ninoy qualifies.
