P302B proposed for Covid-19 response

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) is proposing that over P302 billion of the P4.5-trillion proposed national budget for 2021 be earmarked for the government’s coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) response.|

In the first hearing of the House of Representatives on the national budget on Friday, Budget Secretary Wendel Avisado said the allocation would cover P212.39 billion for the health sector’s responses, strategies and programs. |
