The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has issued a warning against consumption of shellfish in toxic red tide-infested coastal waters of Matarinao Bay in Eastern Samar.

“All types of shellfish and Acetes sp. or alamang gathered from the area shown are not safe for human consumption,” the BFAR said in its latest shellfish bulletin.
