The House of Representatives has never been that compelling since its lawmakers succeeded in a recent shakedown by an overwhelming vote to not grant the controversial franchise to ABS-CBN, perceived largely as the country’s ramparts of monopolistic oligarchs and manipulative kingmakers.
The concerned and curious citizens had a helluva time watching the said ongoing shakedown as if from a ringside view live and straight from their TV sets, phones and other digital platforms. There were also other coverage from YouTube and cable channels galore even for subscribers, repeat viewers, and sharers for those who did not catch it live from Congress.
