Security Bank, along with Japanese bank Mitsubishi-United Financial of Japan Financial Group (MUFG) and other related groups, have raised P183 million in helping Southeast Asian students facing economic difficulties in Japan, amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement, the bank said the groups are the Thai Students’ Association in Japan, Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan, and the Association of Filipino Students in Japan (AFSJ). Also included is the Vietnamese embassy in the country.
