ILOILO City’s distribution utility More Electric and Power Corp. (MORE Power) has denied a statement of its rival Panay Electric Co. (PECO) that it was charging customers for high systems losses that it suffered after taking over as the new power distributor in Iloilo City.

MORE Power spokesman Jonathan Cabrera late last week said PECO cited its ally Koalisyon Bantay Kuryente (KBK), which said the alleged systems losses jumped to 12 percent when the new utility started operations in March this year.
