Investor caution prolongs local shares’ losing streak

The stock market extended its losses for a fifth consecutive day on Wednesday as investors remained risk-averse.

The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) declined by 1.05 percent or 60.85 points to close at 5,738.39 while the broader All Shares shed 0.78 percent or 27.25 points to finish at 3,474.01.
