THE powerful Commission on Appointments (CA) on Wednesday confirmed the ad interim appointment of Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff Gen. Gilbert Gapay and 29 other senior military officials.
The CA also approved the promotion of Lt. Gen. Franco Nemesio Gacal, Lt. Gen. Jose Faustino Jr., Maj. Gen. Gilbert Saret, Maj. Gen. Alfredo Rosario Jr., Col. Stephen Cabanlet, and 25 other middle-level AFP officers.
