BULAKAN, Bulacan: After receiving a lump-sum cash assistance to build their own houses inland or start anew in their provinces, former coastal settlers at what will be the site of the country’s largest and most modern international airport, have received another windfall, thanks to the generosity of Malolos Bishop Dennis Villarojo.
San Miguel Corporation (SMC) President and Chief Operating Officer Ramon S. Ang has lauded Villarojo not just for ensuring the concerns of residents of Barangay Taliptip were made known to the company but for also distributing an undisclosed amount paid by SMC for the pieces of property occupied by chapels to be affected by the airport project.
