THE Department of Science and Technology (DoST) has approved the Philippines’ participation in the vaccine solidarity trial for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) led by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Science and Technology Secretary Fortunato dela Pena whose agency heads the country's vaccine expert panel said this, together with the P 89.1 million budget provided by the government, will give the country access to the vaccines that WHO will select for the clinical trials.
