In a bid to boost land tenure security in the country, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has distributed a total of 4,463.21 hectares of reservations in two towns of North Cotabato and awarded 3,286 land titles to at least 3,035 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs).

The reservations are under the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) and the Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST) in the municipalities of Arakan and President Roxas.
