ARCHBISHOP Oscar Cruz, former Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) president, passed away on Wednesday following a losing battle with the dreaded coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). He was 85.
Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas said that Cruz succumbed to complications caused by the virus that led to multiple organ failure.
