San Miguel Corp. has earmarked P121.8 billion to build two major toll road projects, with its top official saying the investment could help the Philippine economy recover from the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement on Tuesday, the listed conglomerate identified the projects as the 420-kilometer South Luzon Expressway Toll Road 5 (SLEx-TR5) that would connect Quezon province and Region 5 (Bicol), and the 19.40-km Pasig River Expressway (PAREx) that would link the eastern and western sides of Metro Manila.
