The Department of Justice (DoJ) has junked criminal charges against lawyers and advocates behind the “No to PECO Franchise Renewal.”
In a resolution, approved by Prosecutor General Benedicto Malcontento, the DoJ dismissed the charges of conspiracy and falsification of public documents filed by Panay Electric Co. (PECO) against its critics “for utter lack of merit.”
