WHEN a person becomes indebted to another and is unable to pay his debt when demanded by his creditor, the latter may file an action in court to seek a remedy in settling the unpaid debt.

Upon the creditor’s request, the court may order a writ of execution after a judgment of possession has been issued, determining that the creditor is entitled to the property of the person indebted to him. Through the writ of execution, the court sheriff and law enforcement personnel are directed to begin the transfer of the debtor’s property to the creditor as a result of the judgment.
