Stricter enforcement of building code pushed

SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go called for stricter enforcement of the National Building Code because of the susceptibility of the country to earthquakes.

He earlier filed measures enhancing the National Building Code, creating the Department of Disaster Resilience and establishing mandatory evacuation centers.
