Malacañang is distancing itself from the call to form a revolutionary government, saying it was focused on efforts to fight the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
“The call to establish a revolutionary government came from a private group and the organizers are free to publicly express their opinion,” Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. said in a statement on Sunday.
