Jueteng employees nabbed in Pangasinan

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union: BGen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. on Friday announced the arrest and the filing of criminal charges against 173 employees of the illegal numbers game jueteng in various towns and cities in Pangasinan.

Azurin in a news briefing said the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) anti-illegal gambling plan dubbed as “Operation High Roller” conducted simultaneous raids on August 19 in nine municipalities, including Calasiao, San Fabian, San Jacinto, Villasis, San Quintin and Bautista.
