SEN. Mary Grace Poe said Congress has allotted about P5.58 billion under the Bayanihan 2 bill as financial aid to public utility vehicle (PUV) drivers affected by the lockdowns amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
The senator said the lawmakers involved in reconciling the two versions of Bayanihan 2 have incorporated provisions for loan facility, fuel vouchers, facilitation of contracting of PUVs as government service vehicles, among others
