DepEd central office in Pasig on 4-day lockdown

THE Department of Education (DepEd) central office is on lockdown after its employees contracted coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), the agency said on Wednesday.

“To ensure the health and safety of our skeleton workforce, the DepEd Task Force Covid-19, upon the directive of Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones, will temporarily close the DepEd Central Office in Pasig City to give way for a complex-wide disinfection and contact tracing activity,” the agency said in a statement.
