The Philippine Navy has confirmed the presence of two Chinese vessels near Recto (Reed) Bank.
An intelligence report dated August 9 disclosed that the two ships were seen near Recto Bank a week ago, according to VAdm. Giovanni Carlo Bacordo, the chief of the navy.
