Muntinlupa punish citizens without face masks in public

All persons in Muntinlupa City are now mandated to wear face masks, whether medical masks or cloth masks, at all times whenever outside of residences and while in public places. Violators will be penalized through the passing of a local ordinance.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi signed City Ordinance No. 2020-109 or the Ordinance on the Mandatory Use of Face Masks in Muntinlupa City on Monday requiring residents and persons in the city to use face coverings or protective clothing to cover the nose, mouth, and chin as a preventive measure against infection from Covid-19.
