CALAPAN CITY, Mindoro Oriental: A health worker was killed while three others were injured in an ambush in Palawan over the weekend, according to the Department of Health Center for Health Development Region 4B (DoH-CHD Mimaropa).
In a statement posted on its official social media page, the DoH-CHD Mimaropa said the health workers were on their way back to Dumaran town from an undisclosed place on August 1 when their ambulance was waylaid by unidentified armed men past 3 p.m., resulting in the death of one health worker and injury to three others.
