PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday ordered the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to act immediately on the concerns raised by the frontliners who appealed for a “timeout” and to put Metro Manila anew under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) while they recalibrate their strategies against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) amid the continuing rise in the number of infections.
