Duterte orders study on adoption of nuclear energy in PH

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has ordered a government study to determine and develop the national position for a nuclear power program in the country.

In Executive Order (EO) 116, Duterte formed the Nuclear Energy Program Inter-Agency Committee (NEP-IAC) to evaluate and assess the need and viability of introducing nuclear power in the country.
