Reclaiming the ownership of transmission assets would entail amending Republic Act 9136, or the “Electric Power Industry Reform Act of 2001” (Epira), according to a consumer group.

(LKI) President President Victorio Mario Dimagiba said the government could seek the legal services of Solicitor General Jose Calida in taking back the franchise of the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines and return it to the National Transmission Corp. (TransCo).
