ILOILO CITY: Lawyer Zafiro Lauron on Thursday said the Cacho family, who owned the city’s power utility, Panay Electric Co. (PECO), should secure proof that they do not have any offshore account in the Bahamas if they want to disprove his ongoing investigation.
In an issued statement, Lauron said he wanted official proof “that no accounts kept in some BVI (British Virgin Islands) investments are false.”
