CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro: The lone testing facility in Oriental Mindoro that was allowed by the Department of Health (DoH) to operate was running out of cartridges used in real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests, according to government officials.
The shortage was reported as Gov. Humerlito Dolor signed an order mandating returning locally stranded individuals (LSIs), repatriated overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and authorized persons outside of residence (APORs) to present a negative RT-PCR result from their point of origin before they are allowed entry to the province.
