Steel mill worth 4B euros to rise in Iligan

ILIGAN CITY, Lanao del Norte: A new, state-of-the-art, fully integrated steel mill is poised to rise again in Iligan, once touted as the industrial city of the South.

Iligan City Mayor Celso Regencia last week announced the intent of a foreign-funded consortium to put in 4 billion euros for the rebirth of the National Steel Corp. (NSC).
