A lawmaker has proposed that the government temporarily use ABS-CBN Corp.’s former television and radio frequencies to air alternative modes of distance learning to students or as a source of information on the Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.
Deputy Speaker Luis Villafuerte of Camarines Sur 2nd District filed House Resolution 1044, days after the House of Representatives’ Committee on Legislative Franchise voted to deny ABS-CBN a new franchise to operate.
