SUBIC BAY FREEPORT: The Bureau of Customs Port of Subic seized some P93-million worth of smuggled cigarettes loaded in three 40-footer containers here. The shipment was declared as LED lights but upon conducting X-ray examination followed by 100-percent physical examination, a total of 3,100 master cases with an estimated value of P93 million was found. Among the brands were Mighty, More, D&B and Winston. Subic Port District Collector Maritess Martin immediately issued a warrant of seizure and detention on the cargo.
