CARMONA, Cavite.: A detainee here escaped while onboard a police car in Imus City on Wednesday but was later recaptured. Police Maj. Diana Villanueva identified the suspect facing charges of illegal possesion of illegal drugs under Republic Act 9165 as Jumar Ragma, male, 33, of Barangay Zapote, Binan, Laguna. The suspect escaped from police custody while they were in GMA, Cavite, and heading back to the Carmona Municipal Police Station from the Provincial Crime Lab in Imus where they brought Ragma. The suspect was able to remove his handcuffs and immediately jumped from the vehicle and escaped. He, however, was recaptured after two hours. Ragma had been arrested in an anti-drug operation in the morning of July 1, according to officer-on-case Cpl. Luciano Cortez Jr .
