Common tower players can expect an easier process in securing building permits as the government targets to reduce the requirements for these by “more than 50 percent” this year.
In a statement on Monday, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) said it had been working with the Anti-Red Tape Authority (Arta) and other government agencies on its plan to free independent tower companies (ITCs) from dealing with unnecessary permits.
