AC Energy Inc., the energy platform of Ayala Corp., and its foreign partner are set to start soon the development of a 720-megawatt (MW) solar farm in Australia after overcoming the last hurdle with an accord.

UPC\AC Renewables Australia — a joint venture between AC Energy and UPC Renewables — signed an agreement with Transgrid for the connection to the 330-kilovolt transmission line from Tamworth to Armidale in northeast New South Wales, and the delivery of connection services over the life of the project.
