Survey says: China most democratic

Basic to the Marxist concept of political economy is this dictum: Economic power begets political power, and political power serves economic power.

The tenet inevitably comes to mind as I come across this bit of seemingly standard news but which digs deep into the exquisitely delicate notion of democracy.
