The government’s infrastructure program and the agriculture sector were tagged by Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd as the engines of growth for the Philippine economy for the rest of this year.

In a press briefing on Tuesday, Dominguez said infrastructure and agriculture will play key roles in bringing the country out of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic recession.
