THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said tropical depression “Butchoy” picked up speed as it traversed the West Philippine Sea on Friday.
At 5 p.m., Pagasa last spotted Butchoy at 285 kilometers west of Dagupan City, Pangasinan, moving west northwest direction at 25 kilometers per hour (kph).
