THE Supreme Court has dismissed the petition of lawyer Lorenzo Gadon that sought to block the issuance of a provisional franchise by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to ABS-CBN Corp. despite the move to withdraw the case.
During the deliberations of the high court en banc, the ponente of the case, Associate Justice Mario Victor Leonen, recommended the dismissal of Gadon’s petition for his failure to comply with the requisites of judicial review.
