SEN. Sherwin Gatchalian is pushing for the passage of a proposed measure that seeks to streamline existing laws and regulations overseeing the domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) industry.

His Senate Bill (SB) 1188, or the proposed “LPG Act,” will govern the entire LPG industry as Gatchalian sounded the alarm over the proliferation of substandard LPG cylinders that could endanger the lives of Filipino consumers.
