COTABATO CITY: Three overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who arrived in Basilan on Monday were subjected to extensive and stringent screening process. Gov. Jim Salliman said the OFWs went through the screening of Basilan Integrated Provincial Health Office and the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC). The three were fetched from Isabela City Port by a PDRRMC team, transported to an isolation facility and examined according to procedures set by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases. They are now being quarantined under the guidance of physicians while waiting for the results of the testing.
