THE Philippines will take part in an international collaboration that seeks to test a vaccine for African swine fever (ASF), a contagious viral hog disease that affected African, European and Asian countries.
The Department of Agriculture (DA) said the country would collaborate in the field trials of the prospective ASF vaccine developed once available.
