Philippine collegiate athletes will have a chance to qualify for the rescheduled Tokyo Olympics next year via the 2020 Philippine Athletics Championships slated in the first week of December.

Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (Patafa) President Philip Ella Juico said local athletes, including standouts from University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and other local collegiate leagues, could join the qualifying.
