WASHINGTON, D.C.: Boxing great “Sugar” Ray Leonard has said that only a showdown in the ring will determine who is the best fighter in the world today—Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao or Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr.

“The fight has to happen,” Leonard told David Mayo of the Grand Rapids Press. “They both are letting people call them pound-for-pound [best] . . .They’ve got to fight each other to prove who’s [really] the best.”
