THE Department of Education will deploy about 75,000 teachers to conduct the nationwide census, which is done every 10 years to generate accurate demographic data essential to government’s socio-economic planning.

Education Secretary Mona Valisno has said that they will deploy 60,000 field enumerators or census takers, 12,000 team supervisors and 3,000 census area supervisors for the census.
