SIGNAL No. 1 may be raised in portions of Eastern Visayas on Tuesday night as tropical depression (TD) "Ambo" maintained its strength over the Philippine Sea.

As of 5 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) spotted Ambo at 410 kilometers east of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, moving north-northeast slowly.
