Beauty queen, Spanish BF arrested for ECQ violation

Police on Sunday arrested a beauty queen and her Spanish boyfriend for violating the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in Cebu.

SMS Jenny Linde Awe of the Moalboal Police Station said Maria Sesaldo Gigante, 26, of Barangay Bacayan, Cebu City, and Javier Castro, 35, a Spanish citizen temporarily residing in a condominium unit in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City, were arrested at about 5:30 p.m.
