METRO Manila mayors failed to reach a "unanimous decision" on whether to recommend a 15-day extension of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) but came up with "unanimous suggestions" for the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) when it meets next week to reassess the coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) situation in the country.
In a press briefing on Saturday, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) General Manager Jose Arturo “Jojo” Garcia said three post-lockdown scenarios that struck a "balance between economy and health" would be presented before the IATF-MEID.
