Listed PLDT Inc.'s attempt to commercially launch its Fifth Generation (5G) network services may be delayed again as the Philippines continues to combat the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
In a virtual press briefing on Thursday, Alfredo Panlilio, Smart Communications president and chief executive officer and PLDT chief revenue officer, said the Pangilinan-led telecommunications company’s introduction of 5G services might happen later than planned.
